One day left to apply for the Worker Scholarship to the 2018 SCCA San Francisco Region Driver’s School, open to any SFR Worker actively volunteering in either a Club Racing Specialty or the Autocross (Solo) Program.

Submit a single page of your support to the Racing or Solo Program, what you expect to gain from completing the school and how that will help you support the region in the future. Send your application to Marcy Crawford at marcy.crawford@comcast.net and/or the San Francisco Region Office at office@sfrscca.org. It has to be in by midnight Wednesday, 31st January 2018.

One of the prior recipients, Darlyn Linda-Pettenati, Assistant Grid Chief who also works as a Starter, went through the scholarship a while back. “It was such an honor when I was awarded a scholarship so many years ago. A bonus is that I am still racing and having fun, even if it is only 2 events a year.”

Our SFR school is unlike any others in the country and has produced many fine racers, who have competed on the local and national level, and some have gone on to fame and fortune. You too can take this school and learn what it’s like on the other side of the fence/pit wall. Compliments of your region.
